Saleisha beats Chantal and Wins America’s Next Top Model!

Last night's finale of America's Next Top Model was one of the most dramatic finales in the history of the show.

After Jenah was eliminated in the first half of the episode, emotions skyrocketed as Chantal and Saleisha battled for the coveted title.

And while both finalists experienced ups and downs in last night's episode (literally for Chantal - she knocked someone off their stilts in the fashion show), Saleisha came out on top.

The 21-year-old receptionist from Los Angeles, California was moved to tears as Tyra Banks announced that she was the winner of America's Next Top Model.

Chantal, who placed a close second but ultimately lost because her runway walk was too stiff, was devastated she didn't win but remains hopeful for a career in the modeling industry.

If you missed last night's finale, you can catch encore episodes on Sunday at 9/8C and Tuesday at 8/7C on The New CW.

I picked Saleisha from the very first episoed. I definitely think she should be the winner of America's Next Top model. I didn't like Jenna and I thought Chantal was too amateur. I'm happy Bianca didn't win - I never liked her.

I am so glad Bianca didn’t win. She was so jealous and felt so threatened of all the other girls, especially Heather. She was one nasty, vindictive individual and she didn’t deserve to win. She's a horrible person. When you got it all, you don’t have to be so evil and cut throat, but I guess that’s the only way she thought she was going to get to the top. She wasn’t all that, but that's what made her ugly and God don't like ugly. She got what she deserved, a kick to the curb, although what she really needed was a kick in the *ss.

Chantal and Saleisha were the two most boring contestants ever on ANTM. Jenah was fun and nice, but without rainbows coming out all over the place, until Tyra started torturing her with her amateur pop psychologist routine. Social Services should step in and cite Tyra Banks for practicing without a license. Not unlike the other winners, we won't see much of Saleisha in the real world. But I bet Jenah's face shows up in magazines from time to time. All that being said, I still think the winner should have been Heather.

You are justjealous.....I think Saleisha will be all over the place. Jenah could have never been a top model, because her bottom teeth needed to be fixed because the were very crooked..., evidenlty you were not looking ver closely, but Saleisha could smile big & brite because she did not have any teeth issues...Rock on Saliesha!!!!!!

Why in the world would WE be jealous?! We were not competing with her. I know I will not buy or look at anything Saleisha is advertising. She should go back to being a receptionist. That's the only place that her FAKE smile will serve her well.

I totally love Chantal too! I think she would've won if she hadn't tripped the dude on stilts, but even then she was much more down-to-earth and humble than Saleisha, and she was so bubbly and pretty and nice...I dislike Saleisha a lot, and her hair...and also there was that rule about the five year thing, and that was totally broken too, so don't you think that Chantal should have won? Seriously, Tyra...you picked the wrong girl!

I liked both Saleisha and Chantal but Saleisha was my absolute favorite. She was ususally very kind to everyone. She had confidence but wasn't cocky. On the Finale it appeared that Chantal thought that she would just walk away with the crown. She seemed very sure of herself. Saleisha on the other hand was very humble and Praise God that she came out on top. You Go Girl!!!!

Saleisha is gorgeous. She has a very commercial face, an AWESOME runway walk, and high fashion potential. But come on, besides Eva, what other Top Model do we see REGULARLY? Jaslene is doing okay, and i've seen Danielle a few times, but what about the others? They are NO WHERE. Saleisha will be very successful.

I think that she just has what it takes to be on top and she totally deserved her win! Bianca was a total BEEYOTCH!!! Great job Saliesha, I felt your heart when its was down to you or Jenah. Good luck and you deserve every bit of this. Forget all of the haters they are just mad that they can't be in your shoes. Chantal messed up at the end she should have kept her pride and she looked defeated in the final walk. You go girl you did your thing and you new you had it.

The only reason Saleisha won was because she had previous ties to Tyra (T-zone, modeled on Tyra's show - both the talk show and in S6 runway) and was in a Wendy's commerical previous to the show. Given the nationally aired Wendy's commerical less than 5 years before the show, it is seriously shady that Saleisha appeared on the show, since that is in direct violation of the rules to apply
