Survivor Finale – Todd Wins, James Wins!

Todd Herzog may have been crowned sole Survivor in last night's finale but he wasn't the only contestant walking away with some serious cash!

Todd, who was deemed as the "schemer" throughout the entire season, outwitted, outlasted and outplayed every other player this year, earning himself a whopping one million dollars for a few months of work.

Todd Herzog: Photo Credit: CBSBut was the 22-year-old flight attendant deserving of the title or did fans want to see someone else take home the million-dollar prize?

This season's fans were absolutely obsessed with one contestant in particular. James, the 30-year-old grave digger from Los Angeles was a favorite to win from the very beginning.

After finding two immunity idols, it was pretty much a guarantee that James would make it to the final four. But the physically strongest player in the competition put a little too much trust in his alliance, which ultimately sealed his fate and secured him a place on the jury.

Winning over fans definitely has its advantages in the game of Survivor and James didn't leave last night's reunion empty-handed. The loveable cast-off ended up winning $100,000 for the fan's choice award this season.

James and Todd both walked away with hefty paychecks - as did Denise, who played the sympathy card and received $50,000 from Mark Burnett because she lost her job as a lunch lady as a result of the show.

I don't think Todd deserved to win but I really didn't like any of the final three. I would have liked to see James win but if he couldn't win, I'm glad he got the 100,000.

I disagree, I think that Todd was the most strategic of all the players. He's been watching the show forever and has a good grasp of how to play. denise shouldn't have got that money, that wasn't fair.

I manly disagree with Jeff's comment that "this is the best SURVIVOR', I did NOT think Survivor-China was one of the best, I think the first three Survivors were the BEST. I am tired of the Survivor series, and will stop wasting my time watching on Thursday.

For a 70ty year old great grandmother, I have enjoyed every survior season. I don't especially care for some of the players. But, it is a game, and they have to be sneaky. I would never get to see such beautiful countries of the world and there culture if it wasn't for the survior series. Keep up the good work Jeff, and I hope you have another series. I'm really disappointed that Amanda took Todd instead of Denise. Since James was on the jury I was rooting for Denise. I really dislike Courtney and Todd. Those two were both big liers, back stabbers. At least James got $100,00.00 which I am sure will come in handy for him.
