One Tree Hill – Exclusive Details on Season Five!

In order to get you set for the new season, I have compiled a list of all of the characters returning for the fifth season, new characters that we need to watch out for and a list of the best promos for the new season.

Returning Characters:

The following characters have signed on for Season Five:

Chad Michael Murray as Lucas Scott, James Lafferty as Nathan Scott, Hilarie Burton as Peyton Sawyer, Bethany Joy Galeotti as Haley James Scott, Sophia Bush as Brooke Davis, Lee Noris as Marvin McFadden (Mouth), Antwon Tanner as Antwon Taylor (Skills), Cullen Moss as Junk Moretti, Vaughn Wilson as Fergie Thompson and Stephen Colletti as Chase Adams.

New Characters:

Kate Voegele has signed on to star in six episodes of Season Five. Her character, Mia Catalano, is a young singer who gets picked up by one of the show's record labels. Like many One Tree Hill stars in the past (Bethany Joy Galeotti and Tyler Hilton, who played Chris Kellar), Kate will perform songs from her real-life album called Don't Look Away.

Torrey DeVitto will star as Carrie, Nathan and Haley's nanny and Lucas' supposed new love interest. Torrey has previously starred in the movie I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer and has guest starred on the hit TV show Scrubs.

Jackson Brundage is the actor most likely to steal the show in Season Five. The toddler, who will star as James Scott (Nathan and Haley's son), is set to appear in four episodes this season.  

Other new characters to watch out for are Lindsey (Lucas' editor), Jason (a rock star, Kevin Federline), Victoria (CEO of the company Brooke works for), Millicent (Brooke's assistant), Owen (a bartender and Brooke's potential new love interest), Alice (Brooke's boss) and Quentin (New Raven's basketball player).

Unfortunately, as stated in some of the promo videos above, the new season will not be 22 episodes long - as of now, it will only be 12 episodes as a result of the ongoing writer's strike.
