Big Brother 9 Premiere Reviews

Last night, the much anticipated premiere of Big Brother 9 kicked off and fans were left shocked and wanting more.

While most viewers knew of the "big twist" going into last night's episode, many (us included) were unaware of the smaller twists to follow.

Sheila/ Big Brother 9: Photo Credit: CBSSheila/ Big Brother 9: Photo Credit: CBSAs we reported a few weeks ago, the Big Brother soul mate twist is the premise of the new season, which has officially been called "Til Death Do You Part."

Each player is paired up with their "soul mate," which was chosen by BB producers.

And while sparks flew between some couples, others were downright furious with the partners who were chosen for them.

The two smaller twists were Jen and Ryan, who were dating outside of the house and are still currently dating inside the house, and Sharon and Jacob, who had been dating for 12 years but recently broke up after Jacob cheated on Sharon. Jacob and Sharon had no idea the other was expected on the show.

The most memorable couples from last night's premiere include Jen and Parker (obviously because Ryan was not paired up with his girlfriend) and Sheila and Adam who don't get along at all.

Sheila (who seems like a huge you-know-what, if you ask us) was furious that she was paired with Adam and offended his looks and personality several times last night.

Needless to say, there's no lack of drama this season.

What did you think of last night's premiere?

Who do you think will be the first couple evicted?

I loved last night's premiere and I can't wait for tonight's episode! I agree that Sheila is a big B*tch but I love Parker. I wonder how long Ryan and Jen can keep their relationship a secret?

What's with the sleeping in the same bed though? I would hate to have to sleep in the same bed as some stranger - especially if they weren't hot!

Just wanna say our UK version of Big Brother is waaaaaay waaaaaay better, but the US one is totally different and it's good too, but the UK one is more fly-on-the-wall
