Bachelor Winner, Mary Delgado, Arrested for Assaulting Byron

Just ask, season six Bachelor, Byron Velvick.

Last week was a huge disappointment for fans of ABC's hit reality TV series, The Bachelor, when Brad Womack left both women brokenhearted at the final rose ceremony. Well it appears that Brad, DeAnna and Jenni weren't the only ones in Bachelor hell last week - Byron and Marie had some troubles of their own.

Mary DelgadoByron and Mary, who fell in love on season six, appeared on last Tuesday's after the rose ceremony (alongside Trista and Ryan) to tell the world how happy they are.

Mary told the audience, "I love this man so much that I have fallen in love with the sport that he loves."

But, shortly after their appearance on the show, reports began circulating that Mary had been arrested for assaulting her soon-to-be husband.

According to People.com, "Just hours after appearing as a success story on ABC's After the Rose special, former Bachelor contestant Mary Delgado was arrested in Florida on charges of assaulting Byron Velvick, the bachelor who gave her the final rose."

Police claim that the engaged couple got in an angry confrontation at 12:15 on Wednesday morning when Mary allegedly hit Byron in the face, splitting his upper lip.

There's no word on whether Mary has been charged with the first-degree misdemeanor - but, if she is convicted, she could spend up to one year in jail.

First Brad, now Mary and Byron - are there any fans out there who still plan on watching next season?
