American Idol Season 7 Favorite, Kristy Lee Cook!

American Idol Seven kicked off last night with auditions in Philadelphia, where there were some very good singers - and some dreadful ones as well.

While Simon, Paula and Randy cringed as they listened to voices of some of the world's worst singers, there was one girl who knocked the socks off the judges - and millions of viewers.

Kristy Lee CookKristy Lee Cook, the blonde cutie from Oregon, had to sell her horse to audition for the show but was sure that if she got the chance to audition, she would make it to Hollywood.

The 23-year-old singer, who's interview consisted mainly of her confessing her love for horses (and cage fighting, weirdly enough), was definitely the highlight of last night's premiere.

After receiving rave reviews from the judges, the only constructive criticism came from Simon, who told the humble sweetheart she could do with "10 or 20 percent more confidence" when she hits Hollywood.

Paula pointed out that Cook's style was a little bit country - which we can't help but love.

Do we have another Carrie Underwood on our hands? Hopefully!

She'll definitely go far. She's my favorite so far but you can't say she's going to win when you havent seen any of the other constestants yet. Don't you think that's a little presumptuous?

I have picked the winners the past two seasons just from the auditions and I agree that she will either win or place in the top 4. Best voice and looks I have seen on AI in YEARS!

she was lame i dont even remember her . who stood out to me was the lady with the glitter on her face who cursed simon out and the man who sung no sex allowed. they were so entertainig they cracked me up.

Christy and Ramiele Malubay are one of my favorite females, but they are just like the other females in the music industry. The person to win American Idol hands down will be the Young David Archuleta. He is extremely talented and bring alot to the table. He is humble, down to earth and I like that. I do not think a girl will win it this year...sorry Christy Fans ;o(
