It seems as though Kanye West may have attempted too much too soon.

Just days after his mom had passed away after fatal complications as a result of a cosmetic surgery procedure, the truly dedicated star returned to the stage for his first performance since the loss.  

And while Kanye seemed to think he was ready, his actions on stage revealed otherwise.

Kanye West's worst nightmare became reality on Saturday when he got the call that his mother, Donda West, had passed away after complications from cosmetic surgery.

Donda's publicist confirmed that the death was "the result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure."

A more recent statement (according to RWDmag.com) also revealed that the 58-year-old was undergoing plastic surgery (more specifically, a stomach procedure) at the time of her death.
