The Writers’ Strike is Over, says Michael Eisner!

The much anticipated end to the writers' strike is finally in sight, according to former Walt Disney chief executive Michael Eisner.

"It's over," he said live on CNBC's Fast Money.

"They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general."

"A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon," he adds. "I know a deal's been made. I know it's over."

If the writers do decide to reject the deal, Eisner is going to have a lot of explaining to do.

After all, millions of television fans all over the world are already out celebrating that their favorite shows will actually be airing new episodes.

No details of the deal have been released, although I'm sure we'll have all the details this weekend.

Are you happy the writers' strike is finally over?
