Grammy Fashion – Worst Dressed on the Red Carpet

There were plenty of women to choose from when it comes to the worst-dressed on the red carpet of last night's Grammy Awards, but somehow we managed to narrow it down to three.

While we appreciate the attempt to "stand out" on the red carpet, choosing styles that make you look 30 years older than you are (Carrie Underwood) or 15 years younger than you are (Rihanna) won't win you eGossip's award for best-dressed - ever!

Here are our top 3 choices for worst-dressed last night:

We were incredibly disappointed with Rihanna's dress choice for last night's awards. Not only does she look like a 5-year-old on her way to ballet class, but she looks like she's trying to rock the punk look as well. The two looks just don't go together - actually they don't go at all. Leave the tutu for the children Rihanna - it's time to grow up.

And don't even get us started on her nails...

Carrie Underwood: Photo Credit: Apega/ WENNPhoto Credit: Apega/ WENNCarrie Underwood

While it kills us to put Carrie Underwood on our worst-dressed list (we love her music and are huge fans of the American Idol winner), we couldn't let this one slide. The usually impeccably dressed singer looked like a grandmother in this floral Zuhair Murad gown. The gown itself isn't bad (besides the awful floral print) but we expect way more from Ms. Underwood. This look is not award-winning - sorry Carrie.

Bai Ling: Photo Credit: Apega/ WENNPhoto Credit: Apega/ WENNBai Ling

We hate to even acknowledge Bai Ling anymore (how many times can one woman make a worst-dressed list) but her horrible taste in fashion should not go unnoticed. A desperate plea for attention, Bai Ling looks just as bad in this dress as she has looked in every dress she's worn to every red carpet event for the past five years. The only good thing is that nobody was disappointed because nobody expects a whole lot from her in the first place.

The honorable mention on our worst-dressed list this year goes to Nelly Furtado - who showed off a new (and ugly) short, blonde hairstyle. Her dress (while not necessarily the worst on the red carpet) was ruined by her horrid choice in jewelry (remember the thick gold necklace?) which was very close to landing her on our top three worst-dressed last night.

Now that you've seen our picks for worst-dressed at the Grammys, why not check out who we chose for best-dressed?

I was so disappointed with Carrie Underwood. She is usually so glamorous. I don't know what she was thinking with this outfit. Poor choice, carrie!

Carrie looks bad but Rihanna looks worse. And that other one shouldn't even be talked about because she's just always looking for attention.

While I agree that this year wasn't Carrie's best choice of dress, I don't think she deserves to be on the worst dressed list. She didn't look great but there were many other women who looked absolutely horrible - way worse than carrie.

I thought Chris Daughtry looked ridiculous. How many pleathers had to die to make that stupid black 3-piece suit? Seriously though, how 1980's. Yuck!

I don't know what you guys are smoking but Carrie looked gorgeous. She would look good in a paper bag. I really don't know how Beyonce was on the best dressed. She could take Carrie's position here.
