Sophia Bush Helped Brittany Snow With Anorexia
Sophia Bush: Photo Credit: WENNA super-successful career, a body most women would die for and a heart of gold - Sophia Bush has it all.
Her undeniably good looks are obvious, as is her budding career, but One Tree Hill fans may be a little skeptical when it comes to Sophia's seemingly selfless attitude and appreciation for other people's feelings.
Brooke Davis, her character on the CW show, is pretty much your typical, self-involved high school cheerleader looking for popularity, even at the expense of her friendships. And while Brooke remains my favorite character on the show, altruistic good deeds seem few and far between in her storyline, while Sophia's true colors are present on an everyday basis.
While filming the semi-hit movie John Tucker Must Die, Sophia Bush and her co-star Brittany Snow became close - so close, in fact, that Brittany confided in Sophia that she was struggling (on- and off-set) with anorexia issues from her past.
When Brittany was asked to lose weight for an underwear scene she was shooting for the movie, daunting memories from her struggle with anorexia began to surface.
But with friends like Sophia and Arielle Kebbel (their other co-star on set), the struggle slowly became easier, according to Brittany.
"Thank goodness for my co-stars Sophia Bush and Arielle Kebbel," says Snow. "I told them, 'You have to look out for me, because this is so hard.' We would work out together and they would pull me off the treadmill, and Sophia would be like, 'Maybe you should eat this.' We had slumber parties. I started having fun, which was unheard of."
Hollywood wild girls like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears can learn a lot from celebrities like Sophia Bush.
Fame and beauty don't necessarily equal drugs and alcohol...shocking, I know.
