Sally Kern Should take a Seat on the Ellen DeGeneres Show!

If Oklahoma State Representative Sally Kern really supports the anti-gay views she expressed during a recent speech then she should have no problem sitting down and speaking with openly gay talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres to defend her actions.

Ellen DeGeneres/Portia de RossiEllen DeGeneres/Portia de RossiThe speech, which Kern thought was being heard by only a few people, turned out surfacing on YouTube after it fell into the hands of The Gay and Lesbien Victory Fun. The YouTube tape features audio of Sally's nasty remarks and has now been heard by over 250,000 people.

The lawmaker refers to gays and lesbians as being more dangerous to the American way of like than terrorists.

"The homosexual agenda is destroying this nation; it's just a fact," Kern reveals in her speech.

"Studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted more than a few decades," the completely delusional "lawmaker" goes onto say.

"Shame on the person who didn't have the courage to come and say, 'I'm going to tape you and put it out on YouTube," she finished.

Shame on them?

Shame on you, Sally, for being such a close-minded, outspoken you-know-what.

You deserve everything that's going to come to you.

We would just like to note that (in our opinion) it's people like Sally who are partially responsible for incidents like the Lawrence King murder and so many hate crimes around the world.

We want to see Sally take a seat on Ellen.

Ellen would destroy her - and we'd love every minute of it!

What do you think of Sally Kern's hateful remarks?

I mean, how does she get elected with this type of opinion. She needs to crawl into a whole and die. I agree with the author, it's people like this that cause murders and put these types of ideas in young children's minds. This type of opinion is absolutely unbelievable!

Hey, free speech. She can say what she wants!

I would atually really like to see her do an interview on Ellen DeGeneres. If Ellen can swingle that deal, I would watch her forever (although I probably will anyways). Sally is absolutely ridiculous and I would be embarassed if I elected her.

i think ellen should tear her to shreads and give her a reality check we aint causing a problem for her so why punish us for being who we are weather we are gay bisexual or transgender we have as much right to be here then any other straight person has. put her on the show and let us all have a piece of her god help if any of her family turn out to be gay thats all i can say.

TO ALL YOU GAYS AND LESBIANS OUT THERE: What this Oklahoma representative said is actually how the vast majority of Americans feel towards homosexuality. Most people just don't have the guts to come out and say what she said because they know they'll be persecuted and crucified by the media--which is exactly what's happened to this woman. Most Americans just aren't too thrilled at the prospect of two men getting it on with each other. They find it absolutely gross and disgusting, and when in small groups of close friends and confidants, these feelings and viewpoints are often expressed. Get used to it.

To Justin: I agree with you, the world is flat and there was no such thing as evolooshun. The sooner we rid the wurld of blacks and gays and lezzies, and muslims and jews, and everywun who is not a white Christian, the better off we will all be. I also agree with the part of the Bible that forbids women to be seen during their menstrool cycle. They needs to be hiding inside and not show themselves. Slavery was legull in the Bible too so I think we should have slaves again, but without blacks and jews - maybe the men left will just use all the women as slaves, hows that for a good idea? Brittney for prizident.

Yes it is free speech. But.... action = reaction (equal and opposite) For those bigots aka Republicans (sorry to those of the GOP that don't feel the same as Sally Kern) better get used to reality, however liberal you think it is. If you are going to say something is a fact or make a statement said to be true. "It just is..." holds about as much statistical evidence as a drop of piss. Gays/lesbians are the threat? Who was blowing up abortion clinics, killing doctors? I bet it wasn't the gay/lesbian community. If you don't like seeing 2 people of the same sex doing whatever they have the right to do....Do what I do when NASCAR, American Idol, or President Bush appears on televion, DON'T WATCH. Walk away, change the channel. Whatever rights you think you do or do not have, they apply to HUMAN BEINGS. Thats reality. Go see if "The Party of Inclusion" agrees with that. See just how inclusive they really are. I'll let you decide which party this is. I'll give you a hint, its one of the "big two." Sally Kern and other bigots alike...may God have mercy on your soul, because I won't. This coming from an American.

Justin, you are in error and need to get out more (reading some recent polling data would also be advised).

Rep. Kern has a right to her opinions, however as an elected official there is surely a better way of going about relaying her beliefs vs. this obviously bigoted speech. Sure, it's free speech....but free speech at it's worst. Just because I can say something racially insensitive or sexist, doesn't mean that I should do so. And shouldn't this even apply to our elected officials?

So, Mrs Kern acknowledges the risk in speaking to a select few and of course ranting on known lies and propaganda of the Religious Zealots. She might as well be speaking for Westboro Baptist Church as well. What a liar - she's not gay bashing? OH REALLY? It appears to be bashing. I wish Christians like here keep to themselves. They're the reason this country is screwed up BECAUSE of religious influences... case in point: IRAQ... need I say more?

Rep. Kern needs to live in Iraq for a year, and not as a US citizen protected by the military. She needs to live as an Iraqi women. Evidently this mightier-than-everyone white Christian needs to see life from someone else's point of view and that would be the perfect way. I am ashamed that any US citizen is so lacking in not just their education, but in their compassion.

I am a Christian and follow Jesus's teachings and guess what ? Jesus taught by example. He hung out with people who were outcasts and he warned the religous zealots against being Holier then thou. Remember the woman who was about to be stoned for allegedly being a prostitute? Remember what Jesus said, when asked what they should do with her ? He said "Let Yea Without Sin Cast The First Stone".BTW Jesus never mentions Homosexuality but repeatedly talks about the "One I Loves Best" which was the Apostle John.Yes Homosexuality is mentioned in the Bible but so is wearing certain types of cloth is a sin and punishable by death, eating some certain foods too and much more.Using the Bible to sanction ones personal Bigotry is common and has drawn many to become so called "Christians" when they have no clue as to what Jesus really taught or about his message of Love and tolerance.Ask yourself would Jesus approve of this hatefull attack ? I don't think so and if you have studied the 4 Gospels neither would you.
