Patrick Swayze Rep: “The Cancer Has Not Spread”

A statement was released yesterday in regards to the actor's condition but Swayze's rep, Annett Wolf, revealed a little bit more insight to PEOPLE magazine today.

And, despite media reports, his spokesperson insists that her client was not diagnosed in January but actually learned of his illness a lot more recently.

Patrick's day-to-day schedule has remained the same since his diagnosis and he continues to work on new projects.

Wolf finished the statement by stating that the cancer has not spread.

Swayze's physician, Dr. George Fisher, said that "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far."

Patrick is 55 years old and has been married to his wife, Lisa Niemi for 33 years.

Hopefully the treatment continues to go well.
