New Kids on the Block Exclusive New Song!

New Kids on the Block fans are going crazy trying to figure out if a reunion is in the works by the five boys who melted the hearts of millions of girls over a decade ago.

Members of the highly popular band from the late 80's and early 90's include brothers Jordan and Jonathon Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood. But is the much anticipated comeback really happening or are the former boy-toys simply toying with our minds?

New Kids on the Block: Photo Credit: WENNThe NKOTB official website had been dormant for years but is now back up and running, leading many to believe that the former boy band is preparing for a reunion.

And while many were hesitant to believe the news, the updated site now features a teaser to a new song by the band with words reading "Are you Ready?"

The new video on the site shows clips of the band circa the 80's and 90's while displaying the following messages one by one:

"They rose from the streets of Boston. They influenced a generation. They sold over 70 million albums and grossed more than one billion dollars. Then they walked away from it all. Millions of fans around the world await their return. Are you ready?"

I think that NKOTB is maybe thinking about making a reunion tour and album, inspired by the recent success of the Spice Girls reunion and maybe Take That. They are probably denying rumours, but letting the stories circulate anyway and letting the website take the information of interested parties, in an attempt to see how much interest and excitement the stories actually generate. Then, if no one cares, they aren't embarrassed because they've denied it all along, but if there is a lot of interest, then they can go forward with it.

One question...who checked the site to see if it was running? Is a loyal fan logging on daily and reported it to the press? I bet not. NKOTB must have put out a press release, or leaked a whisper.

nkotb.com used to be a fansite, but was recently procured by an official source, hence the news getting "leaked". go to nkotbfans.com for updated info before the gossip sites get it!
