Mischa Barton joins Lindsay, Paris, Nicole – Arrested for DUI

Barton, best known for her role on the hit TV series The O.C., was arrested at 2:46 a.m. on Thursday morning for driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of illegal narcotics and driving without a valid license.

Lieutenant Honings of the West Hollywood Sheriff's office confirmed that the 21-year-old actress was arrested and was still being held in custody as of 8 o'clock Thursday morning. Bail is set at $10,000.

Mischa, who has been pretty much M.I.A from the television and movie scene since her final appearance on The O.C., reportedly has three movies set to release in 2008.

Mischa joins a long list of other Hollywood hotties caught driving under the influence, including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and many more.

When will these celebs learn to lay off the sauce?

With the amount of money these stars have, there's no excuse why they can't hire drivers to take them home or pay the taxi fare for getting home safely.

Let's hope Mischa pays for her mistake - although with the justice system's track record with celeb DUIs she'll get a slap on the wrist and be sent on her way.
