Miley Cyrus Changes her Name – No Longer Destiny!
Didn't think so. We hadn't either - until today.
Teen sensation Miley Cyrus has legally changed her name from Destiny Hope Cyrus to Miley Ray Cyrus because she's been called Miley all her life and it seems more like her real name than her given name at birth, which was Destiny.
Miley Cyrus: Photo Credit: Adriana M. Barraza/ WENNThe 15-year-old Hannah Montana star, who has been going by the name Miley Cyrus since she hit the Hollywood scene a few years ago, has decided to make Miley her official name.
She also chose to change her middle name from Hope to Ray because she wanted to have the same middle name as her father.
We don't blame Miley for wanting to change her name. Destiny Hope sounds too much like a stripper's name if you ask us - and that's the last thing we want to see from this rising star.
Surprisingly, most of Miley's fans didn't even know her real name was Destiny.
I guess only the truly dedicated fans were privy to that information.
