Michelle Williams, Jake Gyllenhaal Attending Heath Ledger’s Funeral?

A private memorial service was held last week in New York, where Ledger's parents, his former fiancée Michelle Williams and their 2-year-old daughter Matilda had the opportunity to say goodbye.

Heath Ledger/ Michelle WilliamsWhile the funeral plans are still being finalized, many are wondering whether Heath's good friend Jake Gyllenhaal will be in attendance in addition to Ledger's former fiancée.

Heath's uncle, Mike Ledger, made it clear that the funeral is expected to be very private.

"Kim [Ledger's father] will be bringing Heath home, but in terms of memorial services, it's up to Kim and Sally [Heath's mom]," Mike said in an interview.

"We know the chapel at Guildford (Grammar School) is available if Kim wants it. But they may even keep it very private. We may not even go to the funeral ourselves."

If close family isn't attending the funeral, will Jake and Michelle?

Sources close to Williams have confirmed that the former Dawson's Creek star is flying to Perth and will be attending the funeral but nothing has been said about Heath's Brokeback Mountain costar (and godfather of Heath and Michelle's daughter), Jake Gyllenhaal.

 Whether the two attend the funeral or not, this week will undoubtedly be the hardest week of all for all of Heath's grieving friends and family.
