Michelle Williams Finally Speaks on Heath Ledger Heartbreak!

Michelle Williams, the former fiancée of actor Heath Ledger, remained quiet on the subject for over a week but has finally decided to release a statement in regards to her beloved friend's death.

Williams, the mother of Heath's 2-year-old daughter Matilda, released the following statement today:

Michelle, who's only other public statement since Heath's death over a week ago was to slam rumors that she had driven her former fiancé to a rehab facility and forced him to get help for an alleged drug addiction, also took the opportunity to address the feelings of their precious little girl.

"I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father.

"All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day.

"His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up in the best memories of him."

Michelle's words are truly heartbreaking and we wish only the best for Michelle, Matilda and their families.
