Katie Holmes New Hair – Love It or Hate It?

Everyone's talking about Katie Holmes' new hair style and we're wondering whether fans adore the new look or miss the old Katie.

Holmes donned the fresh new look on the red carpet of the 59^th annual Bambi Awards, along with a long black dress and super dark makeup.

And while most of the focus has been on Katie's chic new bob (now referred to as the bobkat), it was her witch-like makeup that made us cringe.

In fact, there was very little change in her haircut itself, except that it was slightly shorter and she chopped her bangs.

It was her high heels (as you can see, she soared over hubby, Tom Cruise) and unladylike posture that made her look more like a man than a Hollywood hottie.

So we want to know what you think of Katie's new look?

Do you prefer the posh-like Holmes or do you miss the Joey Potter-like style from the early 2000's?

I like Katie's old look better. She looks more her age with her hair long....she is only 28!! She should show it!

I prefer the cut she had previously. She's a beautiful woman and the other haircut looked more "her". This one makes her appear more pretentious than she appears to be. She doesn't need all the make-up either -- but, it was a very special night so maybe that's why she went there.

I liked her when she had long hair and looked like the girl next door. Now she looks like the vamp trying to be Tom Cruise's ultra showpiece....She's over the top, in my opinion. It's just TOO MUCH.

I think her slumping posture reflects her insecurity in towering over her dwarfish husband. He must have been yelling at her choice of shoes. I agree that the makeup is too severe and makes her look older, but I actually like the cut. I'd much rather she find something original though rather than lifting Posh's style.

HAHAHAHA that picture actually made me laugh out loud! Tom looks like a 12 year old next to Katie. So hilarious. I definely agree her old look was better. I wonder who talked her into this new look. Whoever it is they're no friend of hers.
