Jessica Simpson with Tony Romo But Missing Nick!

Even the comfort of a charming NFL quarterback can't help Jessica Simpson forget about her ex-husband.

Jessica Simpson: Photo Credit: Jason Mitchell/ WENNMedia reports claim that the 27-year-old singer has been having a hard time letting go of her former flame, Nick Lachey, despite his 18 month relationship with Vanessa Minnillo.

It appears Jess regrets divorcing her ex-hubby and has been having a difficult time moving on. A close pal of Simpson's reportedly told US Weekly that Jess spent, what would have been their fifth anniversary together, "looking through old photo albums that she made with Nick.

"There are definitely parts of her that regret breaking up with Nick now."

But despite Jessica's dad's attempt to play cupid (he reportedly gave Jess' number to Dallas Cowboy quarterback, Tony Romo), nothing can fill the void in her heart.

Needless to say, Jessica's romance with Tony will likely last as long as Tony's previous relationships with Carrie Underwood and Sophia Bush (a couple weeks tops) and then she'll go back to missing Nick.

Hang in there, Jess - Nick will come around!

Nick's too good for her anyways...heck all the men in the world are way too good for her. Any girl who lets her parent's control her personal life...deserves to be alone. I think she needs to take some relationship tips from lil' sister Ashlee, she seems to be doing good in the whole dating dept.

I don't feel sorry for Jessica. She wanted to be a single brat.. She thats what she gets. She thought the grass was going to be greener on the other side... OH WELL.. she was wrong... Nick and Tony are too much of a man for her.. No guy is going to take her serious. If she dates every guy that walks in front of her. I hope nick marries Vanessa. she is so down to earth.. Nick was a JERK to Jessica. Am I the only one who watched their show? He was always making fun of her. It's fine to poke fun but sometimes it was really mean. It was good of her to get out of that relationshipt when she did!!!
