Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo vs. Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford

As things heat up between Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and pop singer Jessica Simpson it was only a matter of time before the media started comparing Jess to Romo's ex-flame Carrie Underwood.

The 24-year old American Idol winner was ditched by Romo earlier in the year so he could focus on football.

It must have been a slap in the face to Carrie when she heard the news that Romo was dating a new blonde pop tart, one by the name of Jessica Simpson.

And while Jess, decked out in a Dallas Cowboys jersey and jeans, attended Romo's game this weekend, she wasn't the good luck charm he was hoping she'd be.

Romo reportedly broke things off with Carrie because she was too much of a distraction during the football season.

But is Jessica even more of a distraction than Carrie?

Cowboys' fans seem to think so - especially since Romo had his worst game ever this weekend, conveniently on the same day that Jess made her debut appearance in the stands.

No worries for Carrie though, she's found herself a new man.

The country songstress is rumored to be dating Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford.

The dynamic duo has been seen out clubbing together in NYC and enjoying intimate dinners on a regular basis.

It appears that Jess and Tony are happy (at least for now) and Carrie and Chace are heating things up as well.

So the only question left is who is the hotter couple?

Carrie and Chace. They are both beautiful individuals with great personalities, they just look...right together. Jessica Simpson sucks at pretty much everything, acting singing, being at football games...If tony wanted a break from Carrie to focus on football season, he should be single for ALL OF HIS FOOTBALL SEASON. Sundays game proved why he was single, he had an amazing season, up until Jessica showed up...same thing happened last year when Carrie was there. He needs to leave his girlies to watch from home.

Carrie and Chase! Tony is a hypocrite, as he dumps carrie to focus on football, then dates jessica a few months later. ? Thought he had to focus on football. Whatever dude- his loss, as Carrie is WAY better then jessica in every way!
