Jennifer Love Hewitt Furious Over Bikini Pictures!

"A size two is not fat."

Those are the words found on Jennifer Love Hewitt's blog after her bikini-clad body was photographed and criticized during a recent vacation in Hawaii with her fiancé, Ross McCall.

Several sites have posted Jen's bikini photos, claiming she's gained too much weight.

Well Jen has decided to address the photos - and the disrespectful comments accompanying them.

"Like all women out there should, I love my body," Hewitt, 28, wrote on her blog after the unflattering photos surfaced. "I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family."

"I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image."

Hewitt finishes with a few words of encouragement to other women struggling with their bodies.

"A size two is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size zero doesn't make you beautiful. ... To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini - put it on and stay strong."

Unfortunately, Jennifer's not the only celebrity criticized for gaining weight.

Tyra Banks was also furious after tabloids published unrealistic photos of her in a bathing suit.

And - just for the record - we think Jennifer looks smokin' hot!

Its amazing how the value of women has become the sum of their body parts in this superficial world of ours. As far as her appearance, she's gorgeous. I wish I had those curves. As to who she is as an individual, she certainly has had an amazing career and seems (to this outsider) to be intelligent, grounded and fun to be with. Just look at her smile! Don't let anyone say your not perfect just the way God created you to be. Lola

I say way to go Jennifer. I hate seeing all these size nothing celebraties, the celebraties who are more like us, i.e a size 6 and up, I love and admire for not sucumbing to the Hollywood double standard that women have to be thin to be gorgeus. I know JLH has a great heart and as for her appearance, she always been smokin hot and will always be smokin hot.

Peeps, I live and work around the Burbank area. as much as I love JLH (and have for a VERY long time), I'm not one for lying either. She frequents Burbank shopping areas and, as recent as 2 weeks ago when we walked past her, she is no size 2. My wife is a beautiful size 7 and as we walked by JLH this one day, JLH was about the same height as her, but was MUCH heavier around the waist. She's always been "hippy," but its a bit much now. Still has a beautiful face though, but she's probably rounding off a size 12. Glad she loves herself (as well she should), but if she was really concerned about the plight of the "Big Girl" image, it would serve her better to be truthful about her own weight. Mind you, no one asked her about her weight, but since she volunteered the info on her blog, now she's open to criticism. Bad PR move, Jen.

I've met Jennifer Love Hewitt and she is a completely self-obsessed b**ch. She makes sure EVERYONE knows who she is whereever she goes but she is nice to the press so they treat her like a princess. You guys need to stop talking shit..It doesn't matter what size she is or any girl for that matter..She is still gorgous so what she gained some weight it's about time these stars gain some weight and actually look like real women..Let me tell you priceless art is of full figure women not sticks and bones..I have been both fat and skinny i have lost over 85lbs and it really doesn't matter i loved my body either way!!! NO woman is happy with an overweight body. Quit lying to yourself. If you were, you wouldn't have lost the weight. That's just something fat girls tell themselves to stay sane. Being overweight is not only not attractive, it's bad for your health. So, all of these idiots that try and tell fat little kids to be happy with their bodies, how bout they tell em something constructive like "PUT DOWN THE TWINKY!" or "TURN OFF 'THE HILLS' AND RUN AND PLAY OUTSIDE!. To me, that's a much better message. With the exception of those that are overweight because of medical reasons (thyroid problems, etc), most fat people are weak, they seek attention, and they do not love themselves. Put down the fork! A little pudge is OK, but when there's more pudge than there is YOU, it's time to lay off the cheetos.

I have always liked JLH, she is absolutely gorgeous. So she put alil meat on, she can't be 20 forever. She has an awesome personality with a great heart and that is what makes people beautiful in the first place. But JLH also has the the face of an angel. She will always be a 10 in my book and if the engagement doesn't work out, I call dibs, lol. ~M

What a great smile. I'm a poor judge of sizes so I wouldn't begin to try to guess if she's a size 2 or not, but either way, she looks beautiful. Our culture needs to get over this obsession with woman's bodies having to be rail thin to be considered attractive. This obsession is destroying our young girls, i.e., anexoria, bulimia, poor body image. As for the men making comments about Jennifer being too fat.....take a good, honest look in the mirror. Are you muscular and handsome with no spare fat on your body? If not, fix your flaws before critiquing others.

She isnt 12 years old right?? Those are the only people who should be a size 2 or 0!! Wow-- what has happened to our society. So what if she has fat on her body. Biologically speaking- women are supposed to have more fat on their bodies. I have to say I am finding this whole discussion ludicrous! Yes, we should not judge women only based on their weight. Yes, I don't like rail thin women like some super models, either. BUT for any person, who makes their living out of looking good on screen (models, performer, & actors) their image is 50% of what they should be judged on. As for JLH, I don't care what size she claims to be (even if it were 0), she looks fat in those pics PERIOD. The fact that she has turned this into a "defending all those poor girls with image problems" seems to have made people totally blind. Sorry ladies, but for probably at least 60% of males, JLH is too fat in those pics. So, if you are with those proportions, either accept being judged that way by 60% of men, or do something about it. Besides, it is not like women are any better than men when it comes to judging looks of other women. I have no problem admitting to myself that I am an overweight man at 5'11/190 & would not even debate that I don't look as hot as Pitt. I won't blame anyone if they call me average compared to Cruise. For some reason, women want to be called beautiful, but can't take it when they are not. Well,JLH is NOT fat...but that Ross McCall dude has a fat head...just like Carson Daly! They're both drinkers...and they both have the distinction of being "hangers-on"...lasting 18 months or more,dating JLH while she has a hit show. "Normal" dating decrees that someone dating for at least 2 years can become engaged. BUT, JLH had TWO DOZEN dates between hit shows...that's hardly "normal"...as is this engagement. The guy is a foreigner. And JLH accepted him because of two weird "psychics"...one who said she'd find love on the set (the next guy to come around); and then,a year later,another "psychic" who said to keep whoever she was with. All THAT nonsense,because another so-called "psychic" (who created her TV show) DID score big for her in the ratings department. BUT he COULDN'T predict her personal life!
