Jenna Bush - Ambush Call to Daddy from Set of Ellen!

Jenna Bush, the daughter of US President George Bush, was shocked during her interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres when the comedic host asked her to call her father from the set.

Hesitant to call George directly, Jenna insisted on calling her mom's line first - hoping that may soften the blow.

And while Jenna's mom picked up the phone, George was sitting nearby, very eager to talk to his daughter.

Mr. President was upbeat and friendly the whole conversation and had a message for both his daughter and Ellen's audience:

"I do want to say Merry Christmas to your audience and I want to tell my little girl I love her."

Isn't that sweet?

And Jenna was afraid he would be mad.
