Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnant – Oops She Pulled a Britney!

Britney Spears' little sister, Jamie Lynn, seems to be following in her big sister's footsteps - at least when it comes to getting knocked up at a fairly young age.

Jamie Lynn Spears: Photo Credit: Nikki Nelson/ WENNMillions of people were shocked when Britney announced she was pregnant with her first child at the tender age of 23 (fairly young for those living the Hollywood lifestyle) but her little sister has officially broken Brit's record by a whopping seven years.

Jamie Lynn, 16, and her mother Lynne Spears revealed the shocking news to OK! magazine, claiming she was 12 weeks along.

The father is Jamie Lynn's longtime boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, whose mom also confirmed the news to TMZ.

Jamie told OK! magazine that the pregnancy wasn't planned.

"It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," says the star of Nickelodeon's Zoey 101.

For once, Britney isn't the only Spears in the limelight.

Wonder what Brit thought of little sister's news?

What if your life were put under a microscope and every detail can be twisted and smeared put on magazine covers for all the world to see and laugh at? Ok so she is having a baby at 16 if that is what she wants fine, but now i have to explain to my 6 year old daughter why she can't watch her favorite show any more, no self respecting parent would let their young child watch her show after knowing that what kind of example is she setting for the young girls that watch her show. I personally am disapointed in her, She had a very good show for the younger kids who are get in out of the cartoons and into live action. Thank God that there is still Hanna Montana now there is a very hard working young lady, with parents that know how to raise a well balanced child star. I still wish her and her family all the best and i hope that she and the baby are both happy and healthy.

kids who watch the show don't care about the actress but th character & hopefully when they do learn about her gettin pregnant they won't be silly enough to wanna copy them ur raisin your children nt her.
