The Hills Season 3 Premiere Recap – Lauren vs. Heidi!

The former best friends have officially initiated the most talked about war in the history of reality television.  

That's right; we're talking worse than the Richard Hatch /Susan Hawk fiasco on Survivor All-Stars.

For those of you who didn't watch the previous seasons of The Hills, let's play catch-up.

It all started when Heidi began dating Spencer, a wannabe Hollywood star who thinks that all men want to be like him and all women want to date him. Spencer treated Heidi quite poorly in the beginning of their relationship. He would flirt with Playboy Bunnies, go on secret dates with some of Heidi's closest friends and lie about where he was and who he was with all the time.

Needless to say, Lauren didn't hesitate to tell Heidi that Spencer wasn't boyfriend material. Heidi refused to believe Lauren and started spending all of her time with Spencer.

After numerous fights and arguments about whether or not Heidi was falling too hard for Spencer, Lauren and Heidi's friendship began fading fast.

At the end of the second season, after Lauren clearly told Heidi that she didn't want her to move out, Heidi decided to leave Lauren's apartment and go live with Spencer.

In last night's premiere, Heidi lived with Spencer while Lauren lived with Audrina, a friend they met when they first arrived in Los Angeles.

In between tapings of seasons two and three, Heidi and Spencer were suspected of releasing a sex tape of Lauren and her former boyfriend Jason Wahler. After the news hit, Lauren was furious at Heidi and Spencer and refused to speak to either one of them.

After Lauren's six page spread in US Weekly hit the stands (where she basically trashed Heidi and Spencer) Heidi and Spencer started going public with their hate for Lauren.

In the season three premiere, Lauren runs into Heidi in an L.A. nightclub where the two girls start yelling and screaming at each other in front of everyone.

To top off the drama, Spencer proposed to Heidi at the end of last night's episode. Let's just say she didn't hesitate to accept.

The two lovebirds are about to be married...wait until Lauren finds out.
