Heath Ledger Funeral Update – Family, Friends Head Home to Australia

It's been two weeks since the tragic death of actor Heath Ledger and friends and family of the beloved 28-year-old continue to mourn the loss as they prepare plans for the funeral.

Heath's mom (Sally), dad (Kim) and older sister (Kate) all arrived in their hometown of Perth, Australia on Tuesday afternoon (local time) to begin planning the details of Ledger's funeral.

Australian newspapers are reporting that Heath's body will be laid to rest in a Perth cemetery in a family plot with two of his grandparents.

Ledger's former fiancée Michelle Williams and their 2-year-old daughter Matilda are also expected to arrive in Australia for the funeral service. Heath's good friend (and godfather of his son) Jake Gyllenhaal may also show up for the service, although it has not been confirmed.

Sienna Miller, Ellen DeGeneres, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were all in attendance at the actor's latest memorial service in LA this past weekend but are not expected at the private funeral in Australia.
