Hayden Panettiere Wanted For Arrest!

Hayden Panettiere: Photo Credit: Adriana M. Barraza / WENNHayden Panettiere: Photo Credit: Adriana M. Barraza / WENNHayden Panettiere's heroic attempt to stop Japanese fishermen from harming innocent wildlife seems to have upset the long arms of Japanese law enforcement officials.

Just over a month ago, the 18-year-old Heroes' star made her way overseas to participate in a confrontation with Japanese fisherman during a dolphin hunt.

While Hayden thought she was delivering a positive message to the world, Japanese police weren't on the same page. Just yesterday, a warrant was issued in Japan for Hayden's arrest.

The buxom blonde had more than a few words to say about the situation:

"Obviously this issue has generated defensive behavior on the part of both the Japanese authorities and fishermen.

"I have grown up hearing - and adhering to - this phrase: 'Condemnation without investigation dooms one to everlasting ignorance.'

"We must unite as a world to solve our increasing international environmental crises. We can no longer hide [behind] outdated, senseless cultural traditions and lazy, bad habits that are resulting in the annihilation of our planet's resources and the extinction of our species."

I couldn't have said it better myself.  Seriously.

Do you think Hayden deserves to be punished?

Japanese gov seriously needs to work on its PR rofl. Hayden just owned their ass :P
What did she actually do? If she drove up to one of those fisherman in a speedboat and hit them upside the head with an oar then yes she deserves to be arrested. You can't fight fire with fire...it doesn't really work that way.
