Eva Mendes in Rehab for Substance Abuse?

There's a long list of Hollywood celebrities making regular trips to rehab facilities over the past few months (Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Jason Chambers to name a few) but one celeb we definitely didn't expect to hear had a substance abuse problem is Eva Mendes.

The Hitch actress is reportedly battling a substance abuse problem at Cirque Lodge in Utah. According to TMZ.com, the bodacious actress has been receiving treatment for several weeks.

Eva Mendes: Photo Credit: Anthony Dixon/ WENNEva's rep has not commented on the star's condition or confirmed whether the rumors are true but sources close to the 33-year-old confirm that Eva is receiving treatment.

We're not huge fans of Eva (nor do we follow her every move) but she definitely didn't seem someone who was struggling with an alcohol problem. Perhaps she's kept it low-key - unlike her fellow females, Lindsay and Brit.

If she dealing with a substance abuse problem we hope she's receiving the help she needs to get back on track.

We don't know what's more popular with Hollywood celebs this year: having a baby or going to rehab!

Update: Eva's rep has confirmed that the actress is seeking treatment for "personal issues" but would not specifiy what those issues consisted of.
