Dancing with the Stars - Melanie’s Partner Slams Marie for Making Final Three

It's about time somebody put Marie Osmond in her place.

Melanie B's partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, finally said what many of us were thinking when he told Extra that there are other celebrities more deserving of a position in the finals of Dancing with the Stars.

Marie Osmond: Joe Major / WENN"Frankly, I think there were a lot of other people better than Marie," Chmerkovskiy tells Extra just before suggesting that Marie has been using her personal sob stories to get further on the show.

"I know firsthand there are a lot of celebrities on the show that went through similar situations [family issues] this season and decided not to make it public."

Maksim could be referring to Marie's father's death or her son's trip to rehab - both situations that she was more than happy to discuss on several occasions.

It's about time this year's competitors starting pulling out the claws.

And Maksim is trying his hardest to ensure Mel makes the final two.

How will he do that?

Sex appeal.

"She's going to be showing a lot of skin," he revealed. "The most skin the show has ever seen."

Wow, the most skin ever? Have you seen some of the skimpy little numbers the women have worn before?

Should make for an interesting episode!

Marie Osmond and Jane Seymour were always commenting on their age. I am 69 years young and have been doing Scottish Country Dancing, some Highland and some Irish Step Dancing as well as Ballroom up until last year. I have only retired from dancing because my husband and I have taken up other hobbies. I really admire both ladies for what they have accomplished and how far they got in the competition but please, leave age out of it.

He acts as if the show is just about dancing. Every season, popular stars win out over better dancers. His comments were catty and desperate, and in poor taste. Does he get a bonus if his partner wins? And was Marie supposed to hide the fact that her father died? It was hardly something she could have kept to herself. Plus, even if she had wanted to hide, being on the show put her back in the limelight. Mel B and Sabrina were both performers and have a HUGE leg up on everyone else from day one. Spare me the gripes!

i agree with maks too. while i did think that marie had greatly improved, the "doll" thing did it in for me. it was not the place nor the time and the whole thing was horrendous! i did NOT think she should have made the final four.... much less the final three. i would've loved to have seen sabrina, mel b & helio square off as the final three. i will end on a positive note, MARIE LOOKED INCREDIBLE BY THE END OF THE SHOW.
