Carrie Underwood Won’t Bare her Midriff – Take that Jessica and Britney!

Carrie Underwood officially has more class than Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears - as though there was ever any doubt.

America's sweetheart swears that you won't see her toned tummy while she's performing on stage. The 24-year-old American Idol winner won't succumb to the pressures of Hollywood and insists that no one wants to see her midriff anyways.

"I'd be pulling at my clothes all night. That's not me."

But does Carrie's vow to stay covered up have more staying power than Jessica Simpson's had before she bared all?

A rising star in the early 2000's, Simpson also vowed that baring the midriff was a distasteful tactic used to get attention.

About a year later Jessica's midriff was plastered on magazine covers and billboards across the globe. Desperate times call for desperate measures, I guess.

Can Carrie soar to the top of the music charts without turning into a trashy pop tart?

We think she's got it in her!

Sure she can get to the top of the charts...but do you really think that she can stay there without getting just a little bit trashy?

Carrie would rather not be a big star than sell herself out. She has too much self-respect.

I agree, Carrie has too much self respect and grew up in a simple, farming family that instilled with strong moral direction. That's the difference between Jessica and Carrie - Carrie has humble roots. Also, Carrie is a Christian, which keeps her down-to-earth and modest. Country music in general is not as trashy as pop and R&B, that's another factor.

Carrie is a Christian who loves the Lord Jesus. The world wants to see the flesh, but those that walk by the Spirit of Christ do those things that please God. Thank you Carrie for setting a wonderful example for others.
