Carrie Underwood’s New Video– Love it or Hate it?

Carrie Underwood may have been honored with the Grammy Award for country female vocal but that doesn't mean that the 24-year-old isn't feeling the pressures of the music industry.

Underwood's latest video for All-American Girl has been receiving some poor reviews - a new type of publicity for Carrie, who has done everything right since she was crowned American Idol winner a few years ago.

Carrie Underwood: Photo Credit: Apega/ WENNThe new video features Ms. Underwood portraying several types of all-American women. From a firefighter, nurse and mom to a football player, chef and stewardess, Carrie is the epitome of All-American girl in her new video.

So what's the problem?

Many of Underwood's biggest fans are dubbing the video as tacky and egotistical.

Carrie is known for producing meaningful videos with great storylines and this new video seems to be a huge disappointment for fans.

It seems as though her tour-buddy Keith Urban seems to be rubbing off on her. After all, all of his videos revolve around him (and only him) and we're disappointed to see Carrie following in his footsteps.

All-American Girl had the potential to be a great video with a great storyline and, for the first time in her career, Carrie failed to deliver.

I was dissappointed with it for sure. It was corny and not very professional - at least not considering what we're used to with her. I still love her though!

I have not heard that Carrie's fans were disappointed with her new video. I think it's good and your comments on Keith Urban were uncalled for. I'm a fan of his and that's the way we want his videos....ALL ABOUT HIM!

I think it's being blown out of proportion! The video was great! Carrie is only 24 - come on people, let her have some fun! The world isn't all about serious stuff. Sometimes a message needs to be sent out in a playful manner. 'All American Girl' gives out a message but it also makes it a little fun. She plays a President in the video, while portraying many many other professions and positions that females take on. Everyone is entitled to their opinion - but I really don't think it's a big deal. We need to let Carrie have some fun and we need to just recognize that the music, the voice and the lyrics are still GREAT! and Carrie still Rocks!

where are u getting ur info from?? the ones who were bashing the video are haters. Perez hilton said it was crappy so all the haters replied that it was just to say something. All of Carrie's biggest fans LOVE the video! I know this for a fact because i am a member of her official fanclub and its been getitng amazing reviews. There are always good and bad reviews.. u are just juding based on some bad ones you saw.

A playful Carrie is wonderful to see. It's nice seeing her just give us a light hearted moment. The video isn't "all about her," it is a fun video showing the "All American Girl" can be anything she wants to be. Carrie's fans (of all ages) love it.

i thought that the video for All American Gril was great. i thought that it was nice and sweet, nothing too elaborate, it's simple and it does show Carrie's personality, which i think we havent seen in her videos, it's refreshing.

Actually, first time I saw the video I laughed like crazy! I remember that video totally made my day. It had some hidden stuff that you just can't help but laughed at. I thought this video was great. Sure it's not like her other videos, but it's actually nice to see her having fun with this one...

I absolutely LOVE this video. It's the best music video I have seen in a long time!!! Not sure what kind of person would think that she is being self-centered. It just shows that she is not only an amazing singer, but potentially a great actress!
