Britney Spears Will Make a Comeback in 2008!

The New Year may have gotten off to a bad start, but that doesn't mean the pop tart can't turn it all around and end up back on top.

In fact, we think 2008 is going to be Britney's year!

This year got off to such a rocky start that it's impossible to imagine Brit's life spiraling even more out of control. What could she possibly do to shock us, anymore?

But while everyone focuses on her custody battle, mental disorder and chaotic relationship with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, we're losing sight of the great things she's been doing lately as well.

Britney's single, Gimme More, may not have topped her previous record sales but she earned more money from that one song than most people would dream of making in a lifetime.

Her second single from the new album, Piece of Me, received great reviews from industry experts and fans and has quickly been making its way up the charts as well.

If her last two singles are any indication of what 2008 holds for Britney, there's still hope for a comeback.

Britney has some of the most loyal fans in the world and it'll be interesting to see the support she receives at a time when she clearly needs it the most.

Don't give up on this songstress just yet.

If you ask us, she's still got a lot of drive left in her - she just needs a little get up and go power.
