Britney Spears Loses her Boys – Will She Turn it All Around?
Britney Spears: Photo Credit: WENNIt's official, former pop icon Britney Spears has hit rock bottom and she has nobody to blame but herself.
The 25-year-old mother-of-two has temporarily lost custody of her two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James. The boys will be living with their father, Kevin Federline, until further notice of the court.
According to Brit's lawyer, the decision was made by the judge because Britney failed to cooperate with obligations set out by the court.
But after a whirlwind of a year, many are wondering why the pop tart is losing her children now? I mean, you'd think that somewhere between the head-shaving incident, the multiple stints in rehab and the hit-and-run accident, there would have been some sort of red flag.
And it seems there was - just not with the courts.
But now, Britney officially has nothing left to lose.
And while many believe that Brit-Brit deserves everything that's coming to her, I have to disagree.
Britney's behavior over the last year has been less than exemplary, considering she has two children. But, realistically, can any of us say for sure that we'd act differently in the same situation?
That's a really hard question to answer considering we're not in her shoes.
Every move or decision I make won't be judged by millions of people on the internet. Nor am I expected to smile and act polite in front of millions of people who seem to get some sort of pleasure from my pain. Are you?
Maybe we need to stop thinking of her as Britney Spears the performer and start thinking of her as Britney Spears the person.
Is Britney making the right choices? No.
Is her behavior simply a cry for help? Possibly.
Are there thousands (possibly millions) of people in the same situation as her making worse decisions? Absolutely.
Give the girl a break. What doesn't kill you in this world can only make you stronger.
