Britney Spears has had a whirlwind year but could the shocking news of her sister Jamie Lynn's pregnancy be the breaking point for this 26-year-old pop tart?

Perhaps the most shocking part of Jamie Lynn's pregnancy news (aside from the news itself) was the fact that her big sis found out the same time everyone else did.

But little did Jamie know the news was going to affect her sister's potential comeback more than she'd probably hoped.

A source close to Brit told PEOPLE that the pop star cancelled a dance session at Millennium Dance Complex because there were too many paparazzi swarming outside the building.

"Britney said that she doesn't want to deal with the media because she is still shocked [about Jamie Lynn's pregnancy news]," says the source.

"She feels that she needs peace and quiet."

Good luck getting some peace and quiet now. Between Brit and her little sister, they've pretty much been supporting the paparazzi's paychecks for the past year.

The photogs aren't going to let this pop wreck out of their sight.
