Britney Spears Finally Committed – But is it Too Late?
On hand during last night's chaos was Spears' parents, Lynne and Jamie, as well as Brit's cousin Alli Sims and her good friend/manager Sam Lutfi. Britney's paparazzo boy-toy, Adnan, did not appear to be on scene at the time of committal.

Sources are saying that last night's intervention was planned well in advance and was requested by Spears friends, family and personal psychiatrist.
But, in Brit-Brit's second hospitalization in the past four weeks, many are wondering if last night's attempt to get Brit help will be as unsuccessful as her last trip to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
In early January Spears also underwent a mental evaluation but was released less than 48 hours later after arrival and was seen downing cocktails with her pap boyfriend almost immediately upon her release.
Britney obviously has some severe mental problems and should probably remain secluded in a medical facility (or rehab facility) for a long period of time.
If she doesn't get the help she needs this time, it could be too late.
Do you think it's too late for Britney?
