Britney Spears' Dad Takes Control – Goodbye Sam Lutfi!

Britney Spears' dad Jamie Spears has been granted temporary conservatorship over the troubled pop tart, pending a Monday hearing. After an intense court hearing Friday afternoon, the judge decided that Brit-Brit's father was the best person to have control over Britney's life - and her finances!

And yesterday's developments mean more than you might think.

Britney's father (who never really had the best relationship with Spears) will be able to restrict visitors of his daughter, control her finances, hire security guards to protect her, change the locks on her home and remove anyone from living there that he deems unfit to be around Britney.

Furthermore, the courts also reportedly granted Jamie and Brit's mom, Lynne, the right to prosecute a restraining order against her friend/manager Sam Lutfi, who Spears' parents believe are the root cause of their daughter's turmoil.

Should be interesting to see this unfold...

THANK GOD for James Spears. I have been asking myself all along while we helplessly had to sit and watch Britneys life go down hill....WHERE THE HELL IS HER MOTHER AT!!!!!!!???? THANK GOD her father stepped up and help save Britney from all the bad people that were coming into her life. I cant believe that her mother just pretty much did nothing at all. Thank You James Spears...the world really thinks alot of Britney...and I hope and pray Britney has a come back like no one has ever seen!!!
