Britney’s Sister is Pregnant – Mom’s Parenting Book on Hold!

It's no secret that Britney Spears' little sister, Jamie Lynn, is pregnant, but everyone is wondering what the mom of two of the most talked about siblings has to say about the good news.

Jamie Lynn is making it very clear that the pregnancy was not planned.

She and her longtime boyfriend, Casey Aldridge have been dating for years but were not expecting to start a family anytime soon.

"I was in complete and total shock and so was he," Jamie told OK! magazine.

And her mom's reaction was similar.

"I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious," her mom, Lynne Spears, told OK! magazine.

"She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

And news of Jamie's pregnancy has put her mom's career on hold as well.

Lynne was set to release a book about raising her daughters next spring but has announced that the book will be "delayed indefinitely" so Lynne can focus on helping her daughter.

"We are standing behind Lynn at this time and understand that she needs time with her family - we support that," says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, the company publishing Lynne's book.

"The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not cancelled."

There's never a dull moment in the Spears family.

"Another day, another drama."

Ok guys lets look at this... how many teenagers do you know these days that have not had sex? yeah its wrong, but thats a choice. Jamie is probably having enough problems with this, people need to stop drilling the situation, she is no different than the rest of us HUMANS except just about everybody knows her name... These comments and things are not healthy for Jamie or her baby- stress does a lot to a woman when they're pregnant, so lets just hope for a healthy, beautiful baby, and leave it alone. Lets be happy about this situation, no matter how bad it may be. This is with her and her babys family let them deal with it not us. I personally think that Jamie Lynn Spears is going to be a great mother. I know that there is a lot of young teenage mothers that are raising there children just fine. I respect Jamie's decision on keeping the baby is a great choice. I don't understand why ppl judge you on everything that you do or don't do. I'm not saying that you should go out and get pregnant or anything like that. I hope everything goes good with the pregancy.

Yeah okay she messed, but seriously to everyone who is like it's not a big deal get over, chill out. These starts know they have their name in lights that's why they should be even MORE carefulllllll. I don't know what kind of mother or how she is going to raise the kid and personally I don't really care. I hope she does a great job raising her kid, but if she got prego at 16 it's not giving much hope that she'll be a good mom. Think about it

Jamie congratulations on having a baby... You may be 16 and it was unplanned... everything happens for a reason and obviously someone wanted it to happen... dont listen to what anyone says it is your kid and your life who cares what other people think.. if they were in the same position as you they wouldnt want people telling them that they were gonna be a bad parent.. jusy beleive in yourself.. it was an accident and as pretty as you are and as hot as your boyfriend is the baby should be very adorable..
