Ashley Dupre has a “Mysterious” Past!

The name Ashley Alexandra Dupre has become more popular than Britney Spears these last few days - and her career in music might be more popular as well.

The aspiring R&B singer who brought down the governor of New York (Eliot Spitzer) after she was exposed as Spitzer's hooker in the high profile prostitution ring is wasting no time cashing in on her newfound fame.

AShley Alexandra DupreYesterday, Ashley's two singles What We Want and Move Ya Body debuted on Amie Street - a music website dedicated to up-and-coming artists.

The songs were instant hits. In fact, the songs became so popular on the Internet that New York's most popular radio station, Z100, played What We Want for radio listeners.

Needless to say, the name Ashley Dupre is becoming more popular by the second.

What most people don't know is that Ms. Dupre has been working on her career (music career) for a while now.

The 22-year-old appeared in a music video by rapper Mysterious, director Jonathon Ehlers confirmed today.

"She was very professional," says Ehlers. "Again, she was really warm. She had a great vibe and she was really fun to be around."

Wonder how long it will be before Ashley (a.k.a. Kristen) shops a record deal.

Wow! You people through the first stone with no hesitation. I am amazed at how quickly we form opinions and judgments with only fragments of information. How many of us, posting on an internet blog, actually know this person? Certainly few, if not none. What she did is not right, but the sum of an individual is not what they do wrong, or the mistakes they make. You may be repulsed or angered by her actions, but be cautious in casting condemnation.

Well here we go again! We should all be proud to be Americans, as this hooker asks for the public to not view her as a "monster". Poor little girl had a rough childhood. So now America responds by making her rich for being a hooker. She should be under arrest, not receiving offers from the greedy corporate world that will just suck more moeny for the disillusioned and ignorant "middle class" of this country that will turn this girl into a temporay hero. You Americans are all so concerned about who is having sex with who... Heaven forbid someone have an affair - you burn them at the stake. But let Bush launch an unconstitutional war, break international law, create secret prisons, shred the Geneva convention, torture people, suspend habeus corpus, and kill and wound thousands of Iraqi civilians, and that is no problem. The parents must be so proud. Their daughter is a high priced hooker for over 2.5 years ( the mother said her daughter could handle a governor) and their son was just sentenced to Heroin Dealing. I guess too much time was spent at the club and not looking after their little Felons.
