Aretha Franklin Furious over Beyonce’s Grammy Moment!

Aretha Franklin wasn't feeling the R-E-S-P-E-C-T from Beyoncé or the Grammy writers during Sunday night's event. In fact, the "Queen of Soul" was downright insulted when Beyonce referred to Tina Turner as "The Queen" when introducing her performance.

Aretha wasted no time releasing a statement after the awards show. Here's how it read:

Beyonce: Photo Credit: Apega/ WENN"I am not sure of whose toes I may have stepped on or whose ego I may have bruised between the Grammy writers and Beyoncé, however I dismissed it as a cheap shot for controversy.

"In addition to that, I thank the Grammys and the voting academy for my 20th Grammy and love to Beyoncé anyway."

Beyoncé has not commented on the incident, nor has the Recording Academy but we're pretty sure it was an unintentional error in judgment on behalf of both parties.

After all, Tina is a queen - and Aretha Franklin needs to give Ms. Turner some R-E-S-P-E-C-T too!
