American Idol – Hottest Winner Ever Is…

There have been six full seasons of the hit TV series American Idol, with six very different people taking home the title every year.

From Carrie Underwood and Katharine McPhee to Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks, some of the hottest singers on the music scene have arrived courtesy of American Idol.

But which sexy vocalist is the hottest of the bunch?

Carrie Underwood: Photo Credit: WENNIt's a hard question to answer, considering all of the winners are so different. While Fantasia Barrino, Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks are fairly good singers, we're going to have to eliminate them from the competition right off the bat (sorry guys).

So that leaves Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks.

Kelly Clarkson would really give the other two girls a run for their money if we were evaluating the winners right after they were crowned - but we're not. And considering Kelly's looks (and career) have hit rock bottom the past few years, we're going to say that Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks make the final two.

Narrowing it down to one winner wasn't easy but we pretty much knew who was going to win this from the beginning.

Carrie Underwood is clearly the hottest American Idol winner and her appearance and career have continued to soar since she was crowned the AI winner of 2005.

A couple more years and maybe Jordin can steal the title from Carrie.

Until then, Carrie not only took home the American Idol title three years ago but she's taking home our title for hottest American Idol winner now!

I would pick Taylor, but since you eliminated him, I guess I can't pick him. Try going to a Tay concert, it may change your mind because nobody can beat his live performances.

This Article is ridiculous. How can you state that Kelly Clarkson Career has hit Rock Bottom???? So she has had some management change and some artistic differences with her and her label. I mean it Happens with Most GOOD artist. Her Album drama just happened to get publicized. Generally when a lable doesn't back and album as CLive Davis Made sure he didn't back My December it Generally does not do well... My December has gone Platinum selling over a million copies thus far world wide. Many Artist wish to achieve this amount. On another level that no other American Idol has achieved is KELLY CLARKSONS' INTERNATIONAL APPEAL. How many of the Idols Tour WORLDWIDE ???? Well, I suppose it all depends on your personal opinion of the word "hot". Since I am a female, and not gay, that eliminates Kelly, Fantasia, Carrie and Jordan right off the bat. That leaves Rueben and Taylor, that is, if you're referring to the actual winners of the show. For me, there hasn't been anyone to show up in years as sexy as Elvis, and now Taylor fills those shoes very nicely. To me, he is an extremely hot, talented, gifted performer who will be around for many years, doing it his way.

You can say whatever you want thats your opinion, but I think Kelly is the best looking out of all of them. Her career may not be as big as carries, but thats cuz shes not just going with the flow like carrie shes taking charge, and I find that sexy enough.

You have got to be kidding, right? Kelly Clarkson just finished a successful solo tour and is nearing the end of another sold out arena tour with Reba McEntire. She next goes to perform in sold out arena tours in Australia, UK, Germany, Belgium and Finland. They don't even know who Carrie and Sparks are in those countries which mean Kelly is an international superstar. So how could you dismiss her so readily? So far Carrie has sold about 8 million worldwide while Kelly has sold 15 million. There is no comparison when you factor in worldwide sales. And to mention Jordin who has yet to sell one million in the same breathe as Kelly is the funniest thing I ever read.

Yes, Carrie is the packaged deal. She is all about the formula to make money in the music industry. However, she's a performer, not an artist. Kelly Clarkson's songwriting talent and incredible pipes will keep her around a lot longer than Carrie. Rock bottom? Let's see, Kelly's 2nd album is one of the greatest selling albums of all time, her 3rd album has sold almost half as many copies in 6 months as the highest selling album of the year did all year, and she's in the middle of a sold-out arena tour. She is headed overseas to sold-out tours in Australia and Europe. Do they even know who Carrie is over there? Plus, she was nominated for a Grammy this year in an entirely different genre of music than her past grammy noms and wins. Wow...if that's rock bottom, I want be right there!! KC has the talent, the drive, the looks, and a personal and artistic integrity that is incomparable in the industry these days. Kelly Clarkson is HOT!!

Is Carrie Underwood, Nashville St... I mean, American Idol, capable of singing anything but country? Well, at least the pre-fabricated bubblegum country-pop she sings. I don't think so. Is she successful outside of North America? Barely... But maybe your right, she might be the "Hottest American Idol" right now, but Kelly is and always will be a world class artist and is in a completely different league beyond anything Carrie will be able to accomplish.

i'm going to have to pick Kelly....and i do not agree with your comments about her career or looks.....the fact that she is in the middle of a sold out tour with country legend Reba Mcentire, has sold 16 million albums worldwide and gained more artist credibility than any other American Idol winner, i would say that her career is far from rock bottom

Carrie Underwood is a snob, she can sing a little country and is very pretty, but thats where it stops. Kelly Clarkson could sing the telephone book, and she would sound great. What is the basis of your judgement, someone that is beautiful with no personality or someone that really has talent!!!!!!
